.jpg) What kind of project work brings together an economist, a nurse, a designer, a nuclear physics student, as well as 10 young people from France, Spain, Mexico and Russia? The answer is simple – they all gathered in Bitsevski park to take part in an international volunteer workcamp and to make their contribution to the protection of Moscow nature. During two weeks from 5 to 17 of June the volunteers helped park employees in their current activities – from organizing an environmental camp for teenagers in Moscow region and collecting garbage in the forest to planting grass and renovation of the trail for blind people. Everyday of the camp was full of work, communication, and learning each other’s culture and traditions. "A life time packed into two weeks" - The camp schedule was created under this motto and it combined work in the park, time for intercultural communication, and excursions to Moscow and the Moscow region. Indeed, it left no time for feeling bored or not involved in the activities. The only thing every person missed during the camp was enough sleep. In two short project weeks the participants became an international family. Communication is frequent and the group will surely gather together again- in Moscow or Mexico, Massy or Madrid...
